Improving User Experience: Fuel App Knows Your Location - No More Station Guessing!
Challenge: Pulling into a gas station can be confusing, especially when unfamiliar with the area. Traditional methods involve squinting at station signs or fumbling with a map, delaying the refueling process.
Solution: We integrated a "Fuel Station Identifier" or “Store Address Locator” feature within the Kroger Pay at the Pump experience. By leveraging geolocation, the app automatically identifies the specific station the user is currently at.

Effortless Station Recognition: Gone are the days of station sign confusion. Users can instantly see the station's name and logo within the app, eliminating guesswork and frustration.

The End Product
After users tap on ‘Use at the Pump’, they would be taken to the first ‘Pump Selection’ page, which has the blue ribbon with the phrase “Pumping at (Street Address in City Name)”.
In order for the feature to work, they would need to enable Location setting through their phone.
